SAFE Foundation’s commitment and excellent achievements in the fields of monitoring and evaluation have created the ideal conditions for the conclusion of another important agreement.
SAFE is proud to have signed an Institutional Contractual Agreement with the United Nations University – Centre for Policy Research, an independent think tank part of the United Nations system that has been running programming aimed at reducing modern slavery since 2014.
Specifically, the agreement focuses on FAST (Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking), an initiative that aims to mobilize the financial sector against all forms of modern slavery, including human trafficking, forced labor and child labor. FAST works with public and private entities such as banks, investors, professionals, survivor support organizations, regulators, FIUs, investigators, and policymakers.
SAFE will undertake a review of the FAST initiative to assess its performance and provide recommendations for the delivery of outcomes envisioned by the FAST 2020-2023 Results Framework. Among the elements analyzed will be the program’s relevance to its goals, effectiveness of activities, contribution to the reduction of modern slavery, and sustainability of the program.
The evaluation activity will begin in the upcoming weeks of December.
