Registration is now open for the Tech for SHRINEs HACKATHON, an initiative promoted by the SHRINEs project!

The SHRINEs project, co-funded by the ISF programme, aims to increase protection in places of worship by promoting technological deployment and innovation for the security and safety of these places. In this context, SHRINEs is launching the first European HACKATHON dedicated to innovative technological solutions for risk management in places of worship.

The event will be held from 24 to 27 November 2024 in the historic city of Assisi, a symbol of cultural and religious crossroad. Indeed, SHRINEs aims to promote inter-faith dialogue between different faiths, sharing best practices to protect religious sites from various threats.

Technology, innovation, research and creativity are the keywords of the Tech for SHRINEs HACKATHON, open to start-ups, spin-offs, SMEs, EU-funded projects, universities, research centres, industrial players and individuals eager to showcase their innovations and ideas for safeguarding cultural and religious sites.

Until 23 June, anyone interested can apply by visiting the website and reading the terms: https://hackathon.shrines-project.eu/

Don’t miss your chance to showcase your innovations in front of an arena of experts in the field!
