The interview stresses the lack of preparedness that caught our government unprepared once more during the COVID-19 crisis. In particular, it does not only shed light on the need for better prevention, preparation and protection (P3) in relation to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear events but also points to the need for more coordinated management of communications at the institutional level, especially in times like today when there are multiple and often contrasting sources of information which tend to heighten the uncertainty felt by the population.
