Celebrating “Calvarina in Festa” – A Showcase of European Projects and Community Engagement
We are delighted to share the success of “Calvarina in Festa,” an event that beautifully highlighted the innovative European projects SAFE Foundation is involved in, particularly those utilizing the unique features of the Calvarina area. This event was an invaluable opportunity to present our work to the public, showcasing how Calvarina serves as a prime location for testing new technologies and conducting vital training.
Over the years, numerous prestigious research centers from Italian and international universities have selected Calvarina for their projects. These initiatives, designed to benefit the community, address issues ranging from environmental crime prevention to enhancing the safety of places of worship. At “Calvarina in Festa,” we proudly unveiled some of these significant projects, highlighting their positive impact on society.
The event also served as a platform to introduce the many partners collaborating with the SAFE Foundation. Highlights included engaging demonstrations by the Civil Protection unit, featuring fire prevention activities for children and impressive search and rescue operations by their canine unit. The Fire Department and the Italian Red Cross also captivated attendees with their informative and interactive displays.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. “Calvarina in Festa” was more than just a celebration; it was a moment of exchange and learning, fostering a culture of awareness about projects and activities dedicated to the safety and well-being of all citizens.
