CBRN experts of the TRANSTUN network visit SAFE’s testing and training area

On Monday 5^th July, SAFE welcomed more than 20 CBRN experts of the TRANSTUN network at its testing and training area at Monte Calvarina (Verona), where the Italian Airforce held a demonstration of their CBRN and emergency management capabilities.

The experts were hosted at SAFE’s headquarter for a joint technical workshop on the “Finalization of CBRN operational guidelines for prevention and response to technical events in tunnels” taking place under WP3 of the TRANSTUN project. The CBRN experts presented a positive attitude towards the foreseen activities at the facility such as the upcoming HEAT courses or CBRN training/testing and on their participation in future joint events.
