Fondazione SAFE is excited to launch a public call for proposals for the development of a software solution dedicated to delivering enhanced VR/XR Table-Top Exercises (TTXs) under the EU-funded rescEU-CBRN-DSIM-IT project. These TTXs will equip commanders and strategic operators with immersive and impactful training for Command-and-Control tasks during events involving chemical, biological, and radiological/nuclear threats.

Project Scope
The selected contractor will provide a software solution capable of generating enhanced TTX, leveraging VR/XR technology.
Project Details
- Budget: Up to €150,000 (VAT excluded).
- Completion Timeline: By 31 July 2025.
- Eligibility: Proposals are open to single operators with demonstrable expertise in XR development, 3D environments, and emergency training solutions. Consortia are not eligible.
Technical Requirements
- Platform Support: must support up to 4 trainees and 1 trainer simultaneously, with a full offline version that can be locally installed.
- Role-Based Access: Different roles (e.g., Trainer, Firefighter, Medical Personnel) should be integrated with specific actions and interactions.
- Real-Time Modifications: Trainers must have the ability to make real-time changes to the scenario based on inputs from the trainees.
- 3D Models and Animation: must include 3D models of vehicles, personnel, and equipment, with animations for realism.
