Iraq, Jordan, LebanonProject P73 strives to exchange best practices in CBRN disaster prevention, preparedness, and response. The overall objective of the Lebanese component, of which SAFE is the coordinator, is to ensure the protection and operation of the chain of command in the event of CBRN events, particularly of the Prime Minister and the Grand Sérail, home of the Prime Minister’s office.
P73 provides equipment for detection, protection, and decontamination from CBR agents and training on CBRN hazards and warning and detection systems for Grand Sérail personnel.

LebanonIn the context of the EU CBRN Centers of Excellence (EU CBRN CoE) initiative, under the Patronage of the Prime Minister of Lebanon, ARZ 2023 was developed: a 4-day inter-agency CBRN field exercise that focused on key aspects of detection and first response against CBRN security threats. The main objective of ARZ 2023 is to test the capacities to counter CBRN risks, test emergency response procedures, and identify best practices.

The Operational Action, funded by EUROPOL’s Low-Value Grant, led by the Italian Carabinieri for Healthcare (N.A.S.), and executed within EUROPOL’s OPSON operation, aims to dismantle organised criminal groups engaged in food trafficking at an international level.
The operational action aims at fostering collaboration between EU and EaP countries in the fight against food-related crimes.eNOVATION

The main goal of the project is to create a functional structure that meets the operational needs of the entire Security community for CBRN crisis preparedness and response. Key aspects of eNOVATION’s action include providing access to upgraded capacity labeled TCs, advanced training methods using technologies like VR/XR, user-friendly on-site tools and technologies to security practitioners, updated policies and crisis management adapted to new threats and enhanced CBRN marketplace access.
