In line with SAFE’s interest of expanding its network of practitioners and contribute to the exchange of practices at the international level, we have recently joined the Crisis Management Innovation Network Europe (CMINE).

The CMINE is a Community of Practice aiming to become the LinkedIn for Crisis Management Innovation in Europe (‘One-stop shop’), linking existing networks and initiatives, generating a multiplying effect for the exchange of knowledge/lessons learnt/opportunities, and fostering innovation through multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral interaction, thus contributing to an enhanced understanding of Crisis Management in Europe.

As of today, CMINE has established three Task Groups (TG), each of which will fix its own objectives with the aim of improving the effectiveness of emergency measures and coordinated actions: Floods TG, Wildfires TG and Volunteer Management TG.
