The RESIST Workshop on Categorisation of CBRNe events and assessment”, hosted by the Istituto Affari Internazionali on the 5th of February, has successfully concluded at the presence of project partners (SAFE included), representatives from the identified pilot Critical Infrastructures and supporting partners alike.

The aim of the workshop was to present, discuss and validate the findings related to the Categorization of CBRNe events and Assessment. In particular, the workshop was articulated as follow:

  • Presentation of identified CBRNe events in relation to training activities for operators of identified critical infrastructures under this pilot project;
  • Presentation of and discussion on Training Needs Assessment (TNA) and Equipment Needs Assessment (ENA) in the context of identified CBRNe events;
  • Engage public and private operators of identified Critical Infrastructures in the set up and testing of a CBRNe capacity building programme for the creation of the first 10 CBRNe intervention groups, trained and equipped to operate in contaminated environments.
