The official kick-off meeting of the TRANSTUN project started on October 14th is currently ongoing, and will come to an end today, October the 15th. As Leader partner of the consortium, SAFE-Europe invited all project partners to this two-day-meeting in Lyon, France.
The kick-off meeting is a valuable opportunity for all project partners to recall and deepen the project objectives and the work plan, in a joint planning approach.
Oct. 14th (Day 1) was dedicated to Technical project presentation, with a focus on the calendar of activities and on joint planning. In particular, each project partner discussed TRANSTUN main technical features, such as financial and administrative planning, internal consortium rules, presentation of consortium agreement, procedures for purchase of equipment.
Discussions continued over a delightful dinner in Lyon, featuring all TRANSTUN Participants, Project Partners and Supporting Partners (Operators of Tunnels and other invited representatives) alike.
Oct. 15th (Day 2) was dedicated to TRANSTUN plenary session, where TRANSTUN partners shared and discussed with the supporting partners the planning for trainings and exercises in Frejus, which was confirmed as TRANSTUN project’s main focus. Also, project partners and supporting partners conferred on communication and dissemination activities. Finally, Project Partner Novadays presented the planning for the first 6 months of project implementation, thus closing the two-day meeting.
